Hello everybody, I've officially been 17 years old for 26 hours nao. It's okay, skip the wishes, just give me cash. Okay I'm totally kidding.
This year's birthday has to be by far the BEST birthday I've ever had (Y).
Saturday: Had a really great sleep having just gone through a month of waking up at 8 and sleeping at 3! Totally awesome stuff I swear, sleeping has got to be one of the best pleasures in life. Had a late lunch before preparing to head out with my xia0famz. Took a train down to somerset and walked to Comcentre. Got a queue and number and after awhile, TADAH! N97 mini waz mine. Thanks dad! :D Afterwhich, walked to 313 for dinner @ relax bistro. Met up with Joel as well, and TADAH! JBL Creature III speakers were mine. Thanks awesome brother! :D
Had French Onion Soup/Spinach salad for appetizers, Lamb for dinner and Apple Crumble for dessert. The soup, salad and lamb were awesome beyond description. Definitely worth a try (if price isn't a factor you you)! I'd like to give a detailed review of each dish but I don't think I'm exactly qualified to do so. Anyway, I'm too lazy too. So I'll leave it to your taste buds. Did a bit moar shopping before heading home while lugging my speakers. LOL.
Monday: Woke up around 2 to meet my Awesomest for lunch - McSpicy, woo! I've been craving it for a very long time now, but I've been restraining myself from eating fast food (am I awesome or what?!) LOL. So well, lunch-ed and decided to slack around Bishan for a bit moar. Couldn't really do much since I was meeting mummy for dinner (hence the time constrain which prevented me from travelling far). Parted ways around 7pm and decided to head home first to wait for Joel before going to mummy's together. Had dinner and all before heading home. Upon reaching home, I had to quickly shower and pack, since I was meeting my Awesomest (again :D) in a bit.
p.s. did I mention? J8, while being an awesome place to chill with friends, totally fails at being an ideal shopping destination ): They need Starbucks, Carl's Jr, Burger King and Topman for starters. HAHAHAHA.
Monday ~ Tuesday: Rushed out of my house in order to catch the last 53. Managed to reach there in time and got on board the bus which my Awesomest was waiting for me on. Went all the way to T2 and found a place at Starbucks to ton for the night. Lacked a power socket (the seats were taken), sadly. But then again, spending the entire night with my Awesomest on my birthday? That makes everything else pale in comparison. :)
Tuesday: Left Starbucks 'round 7 for breakfast. Originally wanted to take 53 back to Bishan for Macs/Ya kun (or Dome, LOL). Got too lazy however, and decided to just eat at Burger King. When was the last time I actually had breakfast? Hmmm. When was the last time I actually had breakfast at 8 in the morning? Probably a decade ago. I am awesome. LOL. Took 53 after that and practically napped through the entire journey home (except for the one time where I woke up to put my shades on HAHAHAHA). Literally brisk walked home after alighting because I craved my bed oh-so-badly. LOL. Woke up around 4 to wash up before heading out to meet my Awesomest :D (again LOL). Took my own sweet time since she was going to meet Lijing... ahem, first. LOLLLL. Met her at Serangoon's station before heading down to Vivo. Shopped around Vivo before having dinner at Thai Accent. Ate till we were ridiculously full :D before cabbing down to Ash's place.
Ashwind's place: PARTEHHHH! Hahaha, Ashwind and my Awesomest, being the sneaky people that they are, planned a lil' surprise party for me. Mmmm! Arrived there and got the best gift (ever) from Ashwind man....not. LOL. Left me dizzy for the next 5 minutes, ughh. LOL. Met up with the rest and TADAH! Gasby wax and random packet of lime candy (LOL) were mine :D. Headed up to his place to watch them play pokaaaaa and try his VERRRRRY cheesy (but nontheless awesome) cake! :) Which was made specially for me. Yes, me. ME LEH. LOL. Moar pokaaaa before seeing my Awesomest home and going home myself :D.
So yeah, that concludes 3 of the best days in my life ever. I'll post pix in a seperate since blogger's picture uploaded sucks too much.
On a final note, I'd like to thank my insanely awesome friends, family and Awesomest for all that they've done for me this year. It, by far, has to be my most memorable birthday celebration ever. While certain events didn't go according to plan, I felt really, really happy. I never expected something like this, so... yeah. I'm touched beyond words :') Thank you so much all of you!
Alrighty then, I shall upload pix in a bit (probably tomorrow). In the mean time, I shall snack on my lime candy, play with Awesome ball, try on my jacket, style my hair and send text messages on my phone while enjoying superior music quality. IN YOUR FACES. Or not? Hmm...
